St. Margaret’s School is built.

Architect: Sheehan & Colleary. It is located at 790 Columbia Road. The school is operated by the Sisters of Charity-Halifax. Graduates include Marty Walsh. A high school opens in 1918 and moves to a new building in 1923.* The school closes in 2004, but the lower school reopens as part of Pope John Paul II Catholic Academy on September 8, 2008.
